Now semi-retired, John stays on as a consultant and part-time technician, so his experience is still on hand for our team and our clients.
Technical Manager and NATA Approved Signatory
Kathryn runs the technical side of the laboratory: the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system, pendulum calibration, slider batch control and the weekly control tile checks that prove our equipment is reading correctly.
She is Sliptest Australia's contact with NATA and an approved signatory, responsible for the technical integrity of every NATA-endorsed report we issue. She still tests in the field as well.

Blair is the Director of Sliptest Australia. He sets the scope and price of every quote, so you get the right number of tests for your site and no surprises on the invoice.
He looks after our major commercial, government and construction clients and still tests on site across South East Queensland.

NSW and VIC Lead
Shenea leads our work in New South Wales and Victoria, from quoting and scheduling through to testing on site and approving reports before they go out.

Operations Manager
Summer runs our Queensland operations: the job queue, bookings, site case files, quote follow-ups and rebooking for sites on a regular testing cycle.
She makes sure every visit is confirmed in writing before a technician arrives, and that your report and invoice reach you without chasing.
Our field technicians are based in Queensland and New South Wales and test every week across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Newcastle. Our Sydney team also runs a scheduled Melbourne service every week, and we visit Perth twice a year and Canberra, Adelaide and regional centres on demand. Together our technicians have logged more than 16,000 reports since 2018.
Each technician is trained and authorised under our NATA quality system, follows a written test method and has their work checked before a report is issued. Behind them, an operations team books jobs, prepares a case file for every site and makes sure your report and invoice arrive without chasing.

Every pendulum carries a current calibration date that is recorded on the report, and is recalibrated on a fixed cycle.
Rubber sliders are tracked by batch and expiry date, and the correct slider type is matched to each test.
Each week our pendulums are checked on control tiles so drift is caught before it reaches a client report.
A second person checks each report against the site record before it is issued, usually within 24 hours of the visit.
